I don't think lipstick is harmful they wont sell it if it is, or the authority wont approve it to be sold. But I think there are some people that allergic to it, like me. I don't put or wear lipstick because it makes my lips dry, but I used lip balm instead.

I appreciate your comment. That's what I want to convey, It makes your lips dry because it contains chemicals...

i would like to share that whatever we apply to our body has different reactions. in make up like lipstick, we have different body types so it responses differently when we wear it. When my auntie wears lipstick the color usually changes when she uses it. If its red, the shade changes when she puts it on. her acidity on her lips is higher than usual. the pH balance has something to do with how make up is received by our body. mine in particular just right so whenever i wear lipstick, the color remain the same. if you have dry lips, wear a lip balm before you wear lipstick and also try using petroleum jelly every night, It helps a lot plus drinks lots of water, it keeps us hydrated. there are many factors why make up responds differently, one is our lifestyle. My opinion is wear the kind of make up that suits you best, since everybody is different we can never say whats good for her, is also good for you and me. find your own quality cosmetics and see if it works for you.

its not dangerous coz they uses chemical that is not harmful. and besides, they will going to taste it first before introducing it to the public or market. girls normally use lipstick to add color to their lips or to enhance their lips as some have pale lips like mine.

Actually lipstick can be harmful. Some lipsticks contain lead, which is definately BAD. The government does not control much about what goes into beauty products and frankly they are full of nasty chemicals. Just because you can buy it in the store does not mean its safe. So everything from cosmetics to shampoo or deodorant is potentially bad for you. Hair dyes for example often have coal tar in them. This is a known carcinagic(causes cancer).
Its a case of buyer beware.
