I'm pretty sure it's all a matter of having both living together since they're born. Sometimes it looks like dogs naturally hate cats, but it's not so. There is a very funny case with a friend of mine. He has an old Beagle, and then her mum found a little tiny cat lost, and they kept it. The cat and the dog never had any major problem with each other, and the funny thing is, almost always when there is a fight, it is the cat who starts. The cat is really smart and really brave, andit's not afraid to go all clawy to the zen dog.

I think if dog and cats are been together since they are younger I think they gets along very well. Like other animals like rabbit they are very sociable animal. Our dog also hates the stray cats that going to her cage she barks them. I observed that she don't bark the kitten that going towards her. Sometime we don't know what's the behaviour of animals toward other animals.

Sure they can :) When I was younger I had several cats, an indoor/outdoor dog, and an outdoor residing German shepherd. The Shepherd more or less became best friends with my gray cat. They would go swimming together, hunting for fish in the creek & river together, eat together, and play together. All of the pets got along, but the kinship between the dog and the gray cat was an amazing thing to see.
The cat I have now, though, he can't stand other animals being present - unless it's a bird, mouse, or bug pest for him to devour!

Absolutely, they can live in the same house and be total friends. I've always had a housecat, and a dog, in my homes. I've never had a problem with them being enemies. The German Shepherd I have right now loves his house cats (there's 2 cats.) He protects them and even lets them curl up with her when they're taking a nap. They play well together too. The one cat lays on the bottom shelf of this bookcase/nightstand that I have. I have a tablecloth over top of it, so the bottom shelf is hidden. Kitty lays there and waits for the dog to pass by and then will stick it's paw out playfully and swat the dog. The dog will then stick her huge ole nose under the tablecloth and try and find the cat. Her tail's wagging the whole time. It's not aggressive play, more like hide and seek lol. My dog will even let the kitties drink from her water bowl, or eat from her food and not get upset. They actually have a good time together and seem to be the best of friends.

It is possible. Most animals, especially young ones, are able to socialize with other species and live together. However, I've found that it is more difficult for some animals to get along. My cats hate dogs, and my older cats probably would have more difficulty adjusting to living with a dog. My younger cats might take a little while, but they both have good dispositions, are friendly and outgoing, and are not as territorial as my older cats. I think there are a lot of variables, but it seems to be pretty common for different species to be able to coexist as domesticated pets in the same household.

Yes, both cats and Dogs can live together.ANd this can be possible if you bring the both Animals , when they are snall because in that stage they se eachother like they are new to the world & they need help to eachother rather than fighting. In that atage they are too small , they just behave like friends not as enemies. From the starting stage of there life if u put both of them in one compound then they live together and they growup in the same way like friends. So, both Cat and Dog can live in the same house if they start there life from their childhood in the same house.

dogs and cats can live together. I have 2 dogs and a cat at home and they seem to like each other. They are like bestfriends..They sleep, eat and play together..It's fun seeing them like that. Maybe there are some dogs who don't feel living with cats..

It depends on the dog. Some dogs get along with cats and some don't. I've seen a man who kept a dog, a cat and a little mouse. They get along great and sleep with each other. Couldn't be forced, dogs have different personalities, same as us. Happy mylotting
