hey buddy i think you can also go fro "step up 2 - the steet" too that would be great too. i forgot one more movie which i saw, i ll let you know as i get it in my mind.

"Save the Last Dance" is probably the best, most similar movie. It's a little older..But it's still really good! I love this movie because it's also a love story, a story of personal triumph and coping with tragedies, and it also deals with a lot of race issues. A white girl moves from the suburbs to the inner city of New York && has a hard time fitting in, and falls in love with a guy of another race - which causes all this contreversy. it's a REALLY good movie - one of my faves. I hope you check it out. There's also a "Step Up 2" movie that came out recently. I've seen the first one but not the second one, so I can't really give you any reviews.. I think there's a movie called "Honey" about dancing, too, but I've never seen it. So I also can't review it for you. SOrry!

I also loved that movie. There is also a sequel to step up. It has even more dancing in the second one. The main actress was also in another dancing movie that has similar ideas called "Take the Lead" I personally like Step up better but this one is also a good movie.

There are a few similar genre movies. Some of the are older, but still good. Save the last Dance... You got Served... Stomp the Ground... Honey... Take the Lead... Step Up 2... How She Move... Those are a few off the top of my head...
