What would you do if you found $100,000?

To make this more interesting you saw a man drop the bag while walking down an isolated street. When you try to catch up with him he disappears. When you open the bag you saw a load of money. Exactly $100,000.
Myself I would wait a period of maybe 2 weeks to see if someone that I could recognize as the man and was looking for the bag. If not I would then anonymously donate $91,000 to charity and keep the rest.
I would not turn it in to the police or any other government authority (I have trust issues with government agencies).
What would you do with the money?

I'm not gonna lie, I'd keep it! I would pay off my bills and start all over. Hopefully I would have enough left for some new camera equipment! But for sure, I'd keep it!
So keep that in mind next time we are walking down the street together and you are carrying a bag full of money!

I'm not sure I'd be so willing to return such a large sum of money if the person just up and disappeared and I had no way to contact them. I'd probably just keep the money for awhile and probably lay low. I doubt I'd jump right into using the money or anything as I'm sure my morals and guilt would probably get in the way of possibly spending it right away.
However, I'm sure at some point I would break and I would probably end up using the money for good things. I'd end up using the money to buy food and to pay off my student loan debt. I'd also use the money to help my family pay off some of their debts to make their lives easier. We could use the help and if someone was that careless while wandering around with $100,000 in a bag, I'm sure they probably didn't need all that money anyway!

wow, you will donate 91,000 to charity? and you keep only 9,000?wow!!! you are good man. for me, I will wait for at least a month if no one claim for it then I will pay all my cars and every loan I have. Then give some to my brothers and sisters and some to charity and then I will keep the rest too. lolz.
last time, this guy walked up to this couple and asked them if they have kids. They said Yes, so he held them a blank check and said to the couple to write any number they want and deposit it. He just want to give those money to a couple that have kids. So, the wife wrote 1million dollars on the check and let the man see it. He said, I can work this out... so the couple thought it was a joke. But the next morning she decided to deposit the check and the bank said it will be available in 2 days. Yes, they got 1 million... it is hard to believe but she was on TV and she said Thanks to the man and would like to meet him in person again... I don't know what happened next but it is just great... I wish I have someone does that to me ... lolz

Divine intervention - If it was dropped and I tried, very tried to catch up with that person and they disappear into thin air. Yeah! It was meant to be. I once drove up to an ATM and notice something that looked like cash on the ground, low and behold it was five $20 dollar bills. I was there to get my last $20 out the bank. When I picked it up my first thought was to keep it but I drove around and went inside to turn it in. I sure needed that money, but I know that my blessing comes from the Lord my source. Never heard back from the bank either. Besides there were too many camera around to keep going with the money just in case the person were to return back. But in the case of the disappearing person, its mines.Hehee

I had something similar happen to me. It was 2 $100 dollar bills in the middle of the sidewalk in broad day light. I looked around, and even went into a couple of stores to see if someone was looking for something they lost. After about 15 minutes or so, I walked away and eventual spent the much needed cash. But $100,000 dollars that is different. Really don't like the attention something like that could bring.

wow...! you will donate $91000 if you will donate that much money than definitely you are a kind hearted human being, but the view is nobody will donate $91000 from $100,000, its cool to tell other but nobody can do this. Everybody just say that i will donate that much.
if i will get $100,000, i'll donate some part and some part for younger brothers study and rest amount will give to my parents.

To be honest, you have to be the most amazing person on earth to donate to charity or to turn it into the police. With this day and age, with the economy, there is no possible way that I could do any of that lol. I have too much old debt from our past, when we were young and dumb, and we have two little toddler/infant children, and no house yet. I would definitely get us out of debt, and start to build a house. I hate to say it, but I would be selfish and think about only us.

i will hand it over to the police
remember, some things that doesnt belongs to you will never be yours
besides you may be punished for being a greedy person and not an honest one

Oh my goodness.. UMmm. This is probably the part where I SHOULD say that I would return it to the police..But I would LOVE to random find $100k! That would probably be the highlight of my life.
Here's my breakdown of it:
$1500 - get myself out of credit card debt!
$14,000 - get my mom out of credit card debt!
$3,000 - get my dad out of credit card debt!
$15,000 - pay in advance for tuition (probably more than this, but it's just an estimation)
$10,000 - buy myself a reliable car (instead of having to worry about my junker breaking down on me..Which has happened in the past).
And boy. I don't really know exactly what I would do with it. I definitely would want to donate at least a portion of it to charity; for karmic reasons. But I'm not sure how much.
That would be SO lovely to find that money.

I'd be really torn between keeping the money and turning it in lol I'd probably take some of its as a 'finders' charge and invest it, then turn the rest into the police or charity, that way I'd get what I need while still doing something good ^_^ Either way, it'd be some serious luck to find something like that Lol

I would do some reseach or hire a renowned financial advisor so he/she can tell me the best way to make that moey doubled, tripled, quadrapled...you name it! And if I find the person who lost that bag, I'll give him the exact $100,000 plus $25,000 as 'interest rate', keep on making money with the profit I earned, then go from there! With that I can afford luxurious life, donate to charities, etc, etc...mwahaha, I'm greedy!

Hm, firstly I'd pay off any of my family members debt etc, then donate each of them 1k.
Then put the rest into a bank account and save it for times when I really need it.
Better be safe than sorry!
