how long does status pending take to complete?

Just wondering approximately how long a task will take to go from status pending to complete and the reward? This of course assuming the task is accepted and not rejected. Thanks for your help guys and sorry as you can tell I am completely new to this.

The first time I tried doing tasks mine was approved right away. The next few took few days and then later when the program changed I had two pending. That was several months ago and those two tasks are still pending.

Ahh ok well I have waited about five days now and was just wondering if this was unusal. Do you have to wait until after the tasks final sumbission deadline? I was hoping that wasn't the case but I guess it may be. Thanks for your help anyways.

It can take several days for approval though there is no specific period that I know of. As far as I know tasks are not competitive and since my first one was approved immediately it seems the status can be updated at any time.
