I had to go to a graduation party today. I had painted a picture of my friend some time ago, so some reason heavens knows why she likes my painting, and I had gotten her a gift card. An hour before I had to leave I realized, I had no gift bag, no tissue paper nor did I have a card. Not that I would have things like that in my house, gift bags, tissue paper etc are just and added expense created by, I don't know Hallmarkt? So, I went and made a card, over the years I had made cards out of cardboard boxes, plastic bags you name it I used it. I found some used wrapping paper, wrapped the present, went out in my yard, cut some flowers and taped the flowers on the present. It ended up looking like a big bouquet of flowers. Nobody noticed that I took the cheap route. I'm curious about your ideas, not necessarily saving money but finding a creative way out when you ended up with a little problem like me.

hi ellaprice when I worked in the library I used to get a lot'of very attractive gift bags at our parties. and over the years I saved some.so when i needed a gift bag I had one and i would 'put colorful tissue paper around the gift and over it then tie a pretty bow with some flowers around the handles and it looked like I had just bought it.

Good to know other people recycle as much as they can.
