Ppl here can any one say what r the basic need to own a Sbi real credit card.What r the documents needed?

For you to get a credit card in any bank there are certain requirements.......there is no need for you to have an savings account in their bank, but it is preferable if you have one.......
you can go to their respective site and check for all the requirements.......I think the basic requirement would be to have a particular minimum amount in the account.......or you should have a fixed deposit of that particular amount......I suggest go to the bank site and check for the details !!!!

ok guys,but i am a student and i dont have a PAN card how can i get a credit card??

If you are a student then you can apply for student credit card. And also you can claim as you are a self-employed person and apply. But for that you need to produce your tax return.
Better way is to ask someone who has a credit card in your family to gift a card to you.
In these ways you can have a credit card. Otherwise you can't get a credit card if you are a student and don't have any income proof to show.

Since you are a student, I do not think that you will be issued a SBI credit card. If one of your parents are holding a SBI credit card, you can get an add on card on their card.
Now days Indian Banks do not give the credit card to people without any regular income. Even for people with regular income, the norms are quite high.

The documents generally needed varies greatly.You have to provide some id proof like passport,voter ID,Pan,plus proof of address(both permanent as well as present).They will be asking you to show the last payslip of your organisation.please visit sbionline.com and get in touch with them,or visit your branch.Thanks
