I don't and don't like the idea of having any on my body. But I do believe that many have a craze for it and have it all over their body. So do you have one?

i don't... and i have never contemplated having one either. perhaps i really didn't like to be subjected to needling even if a lot of people call it an art. i've seen great tattoos and most have significance in their life. i guess i haven't seen the need or the significance to my life that's why i haven't been inclined to get a tattoo. i did henna once... just to humour my boyfriend at the time. it was a dare. he drew the line at henna because he knew i wouldn't be dared to do a tattoo. hehehe it was just one of the moods one might have while spending a few days at the beach.

yup henna sometimes stays a few days or 1-2 weeks. the best thing really is that it can be washed off and rubbed off. i won't have the dilemma of having it permanently like a tattoo.

A henna is perfectly fine as it gets rubbed off after a while and tattoos don't. I believe many youngsters today tend to show-off their tattoos to reflect their 'macho' image. Thank you.

Hey there! I don't and I don't like the idea either. I think people have tatoos because they believe their bodies are canvasses of art. I think that's OK and I respect other people's ideas but I just really don't like the idea of getting your skin being permanently inked.

I haven't either and don't think I will. Like you said, its all an individual's choice and they perhaps do it with a purpose. Thank you for the post.

Well dodo, what made you go for one, since you say that you now remember. Does it give you a kind of confidence or is it just out of fancy? I'm sure you have your reasons and would be nice if you could share that here. Thanks for the post.

Shows how affectionate you are to your mother and children. I'm sure they appreciate the pain you underwent to show how much you care for them. Very nice. Thank you for the post.

I myself do not like tattoos. I just find it dirty, no offense meant to anyone who has it. It is just that I do not go for things like that.

Same is the case with me as well. I think its better to let those who enjoy it have them and we, as spectators, enjoy watching them.

I don't have a tattoo. I don't think I would like to get one. I think maybe later on in my life that I will regret getting it. I do like seeing it on other people they do look good on body builders and athletes.

That's right. I've seen most of those on WWE and some movie personalities sport tattoos out of pride. But I think for people who have a different social life, tattoos are just not right. Thank you for your response.

I don't have any, and I don't have plans to have one. LOL. I think it's not nice to see women, especially a nurse like me, to have tattoo. I find it dirty and messy, but I respect others' choice of having tattoo. Maybe, it also depends on the design and on the person who see it as a work of art.

I think you have a point there reco. As a nurse especially, its not considered appropriate to sport a tattoo in a place where everyone can see it. Besides, tattoos I believe, is not a social norm, so if you, as a nurse had one, people might start getting ideas. You know what I'm saying, don't you? Thanks for the response.

I do not like tatoots that much so I do not have any permanent tatoo. But sometimes I do like tatoos. Then I will go for temporary tatoos which remain for few days. I do not want any permanent tatoo for me.
