Hello friends,
You all must be having an internet connection available. Also you must be having many softwares which require to be updated from time to time.
Do you update all of your softwares?
Your antivirus needs to be updated to give you full protection. Your Windows need to be updated so that all the bugs are fixed. Your firewall needs to be updated so that your PC is safe from hacking.
Your flash, Adobe, Java and other softwares also need to be updated to give you better experience on the net.
So, do you allow your PC to get updates?
are all your softwares up-to-date?

Computer software nowadays does not need to be checked if they are updated or not they automatically update itself. Antivirus do that very often, and so are other softwares like the Java, flash and adobe reader. Windows OS are always updating itself when online. So barely I rarely noticed that one of my softwares are updated or not. What I am concerned of is the drivers of some hardwares. These are the least of all that are updated and sometimes when you try to update it makes

Yes, I do have an internet connection. Many of my software is rarely updated other than my antivirus. Why update my software when I have better things to do. It is simply a waste of my time.Time is gold isn't it. Wow...update all your software??? If you really did that I do thank you.Actually an update for important software is more likely to protect your pc and the well being of your computer. As for firewall, it is important but I don't have one as my antivirus already took up all my RAM.It is quite slow already. The last time I had a firewall, the speed decrease tremendously as it needs a lot of verification of authenticity of the sites. I do upgrade my flash and java periodically but not always. I kept one simple rule. Upgrade it when you have problems with it. I won't change my rule unless I have a lot of time to tinker with the pc. Why waste time over menial things? Isn't it

ya update my pc regularly.. i think it is essential to be able to dat.. i think bein able to update windows also has its advantages since i hav enot had any security or virus issues in a whole year though i use my pc all the time. anti-virus is something dat has to be updated atleast on a weekly basis.but we must be really careful while updating drivers as sometimees they cause bluescreen errors especially wit network drivers and with display drivers dis happens

Except for my anti virus and firewall, I set my update to "Notify before downloading". I ensure first that the system is error free before downloading and applying the updates, especially windows update. Some of my applications are portables and I have to wait for the updated version to be released like my Firefox and Thunderbird.
I believe this is the most commonly overlooked procedure of the update process, particularly for Windows Update. A lot of user encounter problems afterwards because of these neglected pre update procedure.

Yes. I will update my systems very often. I will check for the updates for all of the software that I have installed in my system, systems drivers etc without fail for the smooth functioning. The only update that I refuse to apply is "genuine windows advantage notification" as mine is not the original operating system. If my system informs about the availability of this update , I will just cancel this.Else I will not be able to even set my desktop background themes and will become black.
