I want to know if anyone else has faced this problem too. I submitted 2 tasks around 25 days ago and even till date, none of them have been approved. The fact that the reward is only a few pennies makes me feel even more clueless about the delay. The reward for the tasks was only $0.20 and $0.10 respectively. But still I everyday find both of them in the pending bracket. I don't understand the reason behind this delay. Has anyone any clue about the whole issue?

Hi ragul,..
Are you sure with your opinion?
If you said $0.2 and $0.1 rewards, i think these taks are from ContractorGuy or LinkMaster. However this 2 task maker are always clear about the rewards and payment.
And I think you are forget about abandoned task..maybe you forget about your tasks that notice pending are abandoned already. So, they will never review because aren,t submitted..and always appear.
I have many this kind of tasks in my completed task section, and i believe this will stay pending. I trust all tasks maker from myLot, so maybe this problem is from us.
Please remember ourself..
happy myLot

My answer is YES, mwraul..
In easy said, the abandoned tasks are the tasks considering became free tasks to submit by other user.
here is my experince about working task.
I am accept the task and this task have 2 hours allotted (for example), then after 2 hours has passed, this tasks are abandoned automatically.. but they are still notice in our completed tasks, but its gone from our progress tasks. In this situation we are never submit this tasks, would we?

anangf, you want to say that, despite is NOW with "pending" status, those in fact are abandonated ?
In my task page I have 3 aproved, 4 pending, 3 abandonate and one forfaited (0 rejected). Should I consider mylot script is wrong and "pending" mean "abandonated" ?

anangf, if this is true then this Yiazmat is definitely a scammer. Not more than twenty four hours has passed since the task has been completed that he reposts the same task again. I hope the mylot admin will do something about this.

Hi rahul
It's nice to hear there's other person that face this problem too,,hehe.. My task haven't been approved yet too. From what I read on several discussion in the past, everybody can create a task but they must add their balance first, so it ensure us that the creator has money to pay. The problem is, there's no guarantee they will pay us or not. Some of the member here had complain about someone who never accept or reject their task, so it ended in "pending" section until now. I think better you see first who give the task. So far, the task from SharonBucks and Linkmaster always clear and pay (it's from my own experience). I don't say other task creator not pay, but these two always pay and there's issue that Sharon is one of mylot admin. I've paid from task about flower too, eventhough it takes 2 days..
Be careful before doing the task and see the person or their profile page first. If their last login is 1 month ago or more then it's clear they are not active here and even if they will accept or reject your task, it needs long time.
Anyway, always think positively, maybe he/she hasn't had time to come here and check your submission.. Let's we wait and hope your task will be accepted soon

Rahul, I read that you responded to a similar discussion where the task creator is Yiazmat. I have completed two tasks for him too but have not been paid yet. Contact the mylot admin and paste the links to the submitted task so that the admin can get this scammer to pay. There is also one lady scammer who has not paid me yet, I will get her name and post it here so that people with similar issues raise up this concern with the mylot administration.

Yeah, once I posted this discussion, I found a similar discussion from the tags and decided to reply. But it was disappointing to know so many people getting scammed. Infact, I've now lost hope of getting paid by this guy though I'm considering taking this issue to the mylot admin.

Same here Rahul. I can afford to lose the reward or earnings promised by this person. But what irks me the most is the idea of him scamming people for a few cents.

Actually, when I last month logged into MyLot, I could see my earnings at $6.92 and for the first time I felt I could get some money from this place. This was the only motivation behind submitting thise tasks as I thought they would help me make a quick buck as I don't usually find a lot of time to be online here. Maybe I'll still have to wait another 2 months before I actually cashout from MyLot, a feat that will take me nearly 3 years of not so much hardwork.

I guess I'll have to check that person's profile out to see when he was online last. Also, his post count was in the 300's, so he's obviously not a newbie who's scammed me and run away. Don't know whats taking so long. I wonder if reporting it MyLot admin will help.

It's not right for people to post tasks for which they refuse to pay. Most of the tasks submitted by members look like memberships, where they get bonuses for getting people to join.
If you do these types of tasks a lot, it's probably a good idea to keep a list of who pays, and who doesn't. It's an inexpensive education to have that list handy so that you don't waste your time on their future tasks.

Its definitely been a learning curve for me and the hard way. I guess keeping track of task creators has become essential so we don't get duped every now and then. Actually, even if I do get paid by this person, I'd still think twice before accepting any other task from him.

Well I don't really do those 10 - 20 cents tasks, as you can really know whether they will pay or no, as they are people like you and me......I suggest go in for tasks by sharon bucks, I guess she works with mylot and she usually posts writing tasks worth $2 - $3.......I had done one a week back, surprisingly it is taking a longer time this week as usually it gets credited with 2-3 days......Lets just hope for the best !!!!

I agree Sharon Bucks' tasks are the safest as far as payments are concerned. But the problem is that they are far and few between and they also require a lot of research to be done. At the same time, the penny tasks are easy to complete. Never expected I'd become a soft target for scammers here too.

I can weel understand it is getting very frustrating. I have taken a look at the taskes, but so far I have not done the tasks. One reason being they are a bit confusing. I think the instructions should be simplified a bit, make them easier to follow.

I would like to know the same thing, at least yours was 20 cent 10 cent, mine was 2cent, I just know what task not to pick in the future, this is really crazy how this task thing work, have you tried sending a message to the person that posted the task? I don't know how this all works myself, so i will look forward to the responses you get for this question.
