Hi dianmelydia,
We rarely face blackout situation here. It is only happen when there are some technical error or because of some upgrade processes being made. It is annoying when blackout happen during a night. Too hot to sleep but don't know what else to do. If that is happen during days, we still can go to somewhere else.

Usually blackout seldom occur on a big country. But however, i hope that we will have a poweful electricity node and the green node. We can't live without electricity power in this modern world. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

we used to have blackouts often. but that was 10 years ago. and it was not only irritating, it disrupted our way of life! we rely on electricity in all forms of human activity! even reading! either you turn on that fan to cool yourself or turn on the light to see what you're reading.

i agree totally with u, its a government gift to us and we have nothing to do other than to sufer. My area has a very less power supply but today its farmuch better than other days.
being small city, electricity is a common problem and no body gives attention to our problem. in night, my area falls deep black at night. at especially the summer days without even fan is ridiculous.I dont even want to think about the troubles in those days.

It's true. The government always making energy saving campaign, but the fact in our life with less and limited electricity power, people could wasting more energy for their alternative sources, such as diesel genset. So i think those campaign are useless. No action talk only. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

Hi Dian,
I am from South India from Tamilnadu State. Here for the last two years we are having daily Power cut of 2 hours. Earlier, there was no electricity for 6 hours a day. Then it reduced to 4 hours for 2 months and now for last 8 months, it is stable with 2 hours power cut every day. At the Beginning, it was very Irritating. Now i mixed with it. No Prob for me.. but this factor really affects small scale industries here.most of them suffered at the beginning.I hope now, now everyone would have taken safety steps.
Happy Postings.. Have a nice time!

We have power cuts whenever the monsoons fail, but it is not for long normally an hour or two.Yes, i can understand it's irritating but over here we are aware of the timings and we are prepared for it .This year since the monsoons have so far not been adequate the hydro power generation is low hence the shortfall and resultant problems.

Here in our place it seldom blackout if only we have typhoon we experience it. Back in the 90's we always experienced blackout and ironing our clothes is very difficult we need to use the iron that uses charcoal. Sometimes my classmates don't iron there clothes. We can live without electricity but now when we don't have electricity we have also no water. Water is more important than electricity.

We don't usually have a problem here, unless there's a storm or accident that cuts off the electricity for awhile. I've lived in this house for over 8 years and have probably gone without electricity for a total of 2 hours during that time. There are places in the US, though, where they have "rolling blackouts," planned blackouts during the hot weather because air conditioning is used so much, mainly. I haven't heard much about it this year, so maybe they've increased their capacity.

My area is fine but I've heard PG&E doesn't have enough energy to supply all it's costumers and has to buy energy from other countries and is losing money because of it. Blacks out is annoying but maybe you can buy some pretty candles and might a night of it. Happy mylotting

hello there...
well, we have enough electricity here, just always pay your bills and everything will be fine...
sometimes we have blackout when there's a typhoon, but it only take for few hours only or when there are electricians who are fixing some electrical wires or facilities in our area.

Our government always say if they will add more electricity node in our country. But the fact there's always corruption and corruption never ends. That's why here in Indonesia, although this country had just celebrating its 64th independence day, there's still alot people live under standard. If i read on the corruption reports, i see the amount of money is very very big. If those money use for build electricity power nodes, i believe that can cover all over this nation. So the problem is on our government. Here in my city, with just only 2 hours driving to suburban area, we will find that place has very limited electricity power. Come on, this year is the 64th independence, but today only separated 2 hours driving, there's a place which is very difference than the capital city. I hope our new government will realized this situation and they will do the best for their country. Happy mylotting.
