Question about affiliations and IPs

Ok, Where I live it's in a big subdivision and there is about 30 house's and more going up daily. 99% of us have DSL. Because it came as a package deal when we had the phone's put in. Across the road is another Subdivision with the same DSL provider. With over 500 home's. My mom is wondering if where most of us have the same DSL provider if we are all going to be showing up pretty much as having the same IP? Because she asked a friend to signup here and said she may have to, put herself down as an affiliation. I don't know does she? I was talking to Gregg about him and his wife maybe joining here and now I am wondering? I don't want Mylot thinking maybe I have 50 people living in my house.
