i did an experiment and did not pray to god for sometime. it was a shock to me but i gradually learned to live with it. because i kept myself from asking help from god, instead i asked help from real people who could help me. now i have faith in people instead.

I think the real people can't help you for the right answer. Human's wisdom is not like God's. Especially if...sorry, if they are atheists, can you imagine what answer will you get? To rely on in God is not hard if you spend time everyday. Read the Bible, pray, dialogues like chatting with a friend, then God's image will be larger in your perception.

of course it is very important. We need to pray and work so that we can reach our gold. It is very important to have faith in God. You can consult him in every undertakings in life. And He will guide you the way how struglle you are in attaining your gold. Have faith and work of course and cling you will meet the goal of success

I don't think I could ever do what you did as my faith is the most important thing in my life. I would rather speak to no one and only God than speak to everyone in the world and not speak to God. I don't feel I would be able to go on in the world knowing that I wouldn't have that relationship anymore as it keeps me going every day. It is nice you have friends who can help you but I hope one day you realise how much God is capable of that no human will ever be. There is nothing wrong with turning to more than one person for help you know?

Just when I started realizing that god doesnt come down to punish people who are unfair, a process called growing up, I raised the same question. I was told - what have u to lose in believing, if he is there, u will be treated well up in heaven, if he is not, u r not at loss. So why dont u? Well, this was a flippant answer. Over the years, I realized I needed somebody to ask somethings which I felt were humanly impossible. Many times, it was real human beings who did those things for me, but what made them unusual was the element of surprise. There were times that my wishes were not fulfilled as well, and I was again cut up with my favor doing god. :-) If I were to weigh the overall benefit of his role in my life, I'd say, I gained 80 percent. On my own, I'd be a mess. And he is somebody from whom I have even dared to ask impossible or bad. Something if I'd asked of my friend, I'd be termed mad, or evil. :-) And I got away without being punished for it! So - he is definitely necessary for me.

Whether you are praying to God or not, just being thankful everyday, especially in the morning after just waking up, is important. By being thankful, the forces of what ever you beleive in will work for you. Prayer before going to bed is also very good, it will set your mind at ease before sleep and when you wake up, some answers you might be seeking will be there for you to discover during your day. Just remember however, that good intentions will always pay you back large dividends!
