Sunday dinners with the family?

Every Sunday we all get together and have a huge family dinner, I was wondering if anyone else did that. My brother's and and sister inlaw's with their kid's show up. My sister and brother inlaw and their kid's show up. Along with my Mom. So it's alway's a huge Dinner. Anyone else have Sunday Dinner's with the whole family?

Awww I miss having those! We used to have pretty often get togethers like that with my husband's family who lives next door, and on occasion we would do it with my family, but we haven't done it nearly as much and I really miss it! We haven't spent nearly as much time with our families as we should. This made me really think, thank you!

Your welcome, and thank you for the response. It seem's like in the old day's or even a few year's back that many of us had more family dinner's together then we do now. I know I personally like family dinner's. I only have one Brother that doesn't show up and he live's in Washington State. He retire's next year and then he will be moving closer so we hope to see him around starting next year.

Before we moved into our house, we always had a big sit down dinner on Sunday evenings with the entire family. We said that we would continue that tradition after we got into our house, but it hasn't happened. Frankly, I have to say that I really miss it too. When we would all get together it would be my mom, my sister, my brother, sister-in-law and two nieces and then my husband, two children, and myself. Typically it was my mother who would cook for everyone. It would be a dinner like meat loaf or chicken and dumplings. Basically a dinner that takes all day to cook.

My Mom normally put's most everything in the slow cooker so that way it cook's slowly. She doesn't like to do much at all on Sunday other then cooking Potato's. So it cook's most of Saturday night and Sunday morning and is all ready to eat come Sunday night for Dinner. But it alway's taste so good.
