I do not think that Massa will be coming back this year for Ferrari. There is only 5 more races and Ferrari is still long way back in the ranking to catch Brawn Gp team for Championship title. It is end of the career for Massa with Ferrari and it is talks that Fichella of Force India team will join Ferrari next year.. Let us see what will happen..

Veteran Italian Luca Badoer will retain his place as injured Brazilian Felipe Massa's replacement in the Ferrari team for Belgian Grand Prix. Ferrari might think he will be back soon but Formula One boss Bernie Eccelstone says the 2009 season is over for the Brazilian. he has shown good imprvement but to extept him to return within this year is too much...
who knows..? by the end of the year we might see Massa back on his Ferrari. best wishes for Massa...

In my view if Massa ends up a race winning will boost his confidence for next year. If Massa injury is very serious then he should take rest and no point in coming hurrily because Ferrari is out of contention for winning the Construction Championship and in drivers list too Massa is very far from Rank 1. Yes you are right who knows, he might be coming back very soon this year itself.. Until then Ferrari have to lift the spirit of Luca Badoer..

I dont think he will return this year, but was wondering since Robert Kubica will be driving the next race and if Mass has to make a return next year who will be going out, I also read Alonso will be joining Ferrari next season. there we will lot of surprises come up for us...

Although I think he could be fit for maybe the last couple of races I don't think he should come back this yearr. The chances are Ferrari will be out of the running for anything by then and so why rush things when all he would be doing is making up the numbers. Personally I feel he should take his time and get into top shape for next season when I am sure he will still have a ride with Ferarri as up to the crash he had done quite well.

Well friend, he cannot be completely ignored because Ferrari might be wanting him one race before this year races.. What I feel is that Massa should participate atleast one race this year because he will be going with some confidence next year. This is what I feel what do you say???

Hi madhuvamsi,
According to the report, Massa will drive again for Farrari at the Brazillian Grandprix. Farrari have to use Luca Badoer (Farrari test driver) for the time being as no one come to replace Massa. It is very interesting when news come out that Schumacher is going to replace Massa. But he can't do that because of health reason.
