Why don't we provide the best education to all children?

Why won't we let parents choose what school they want to send their children to? Why does the democratic party oppose private schools? We all know private schools provide vastly superior educations to even the economically poorest students. Many of them provide that education at half the cost of public schools. Obama cancelled a charter school in the DC area. One of those schools was the one HIS kids go to. Why do parents of poor kids continue to vote democrat? The answer to the first question is if we let them choose, they would choose private or charter schools every time. Also the DEMS get HUGE contributions from the NEA. They also prefer the inferior education because those students are less likely to be successful and more likely to have no job or lower paying jobs and to vote democrat. Also public school teachers are mostly left leaning and teachers there indoctrinate their views to the students. Ever heard stories about public school teachers that have done horrible things to students but are almost impossible to fire? Our kids deserve better!!! Why do parents of poor kids continue to vote democrat? Maybe they just don't know any better. Poor black intercity kids should be protesting in the streets! It's a disgraceful racist attack on these people that shouldn't be tolerated by anyone. Any comments?

I agree with you. I want my children to have a private education as well. Im starting to doubt my choice to vote for Obama.....

All good questions... I certainly feel like the wool has been removed from over my eyes from the liberal ideology that was spoon fed to me in the public school I attended. Obama wouldn't want kids to think for themselves. He ignores facts and logic and plan common sense for his liberal ideology and dreams of utopia!

How can you call your self pro-choice yet be against school choice. I would take it a step farther if you were to decide to send you child to a private school or keep you children at home and home school them then you should not have to pay for the public school system. Even a step farther just privatize the whole education system. Government has screw up too many generations through their education, and should not be allowed to screw up one more.
