My son starts back to school tommorrow. He is tired of taking sandwhiches to school. On days that he has not had hot lunch in school I send him mostly sandwhiches. I told him I would try and come up with some new ideas for for him to take for lunch. If anyone has any good lunch ideas that you do not have to heat up for kids to take for school luches please share. Thank you.

Sandwiches are good if you switch them up everyday! Different kinds of meats, etc.
Other ideas, leftovers from the night before? If you have a leftover burger, left over stirfry, etc.
Kraft Dinner has Easy Mac, you could put a microwaveable container and a pack of Easy Mac in.
Just a few suggestions from when I was younger haha

There are really endless sandwiches that can be made for lunches so you could always try experimenting with different sandwich ideas. Also, don't be afraid to toss in leftovers from the night before. I don't know about you, but I like leftovers cold sometimes. I think they're pretty darn good.
Another thing you could try are mini pizzas. Use some tortilla bread and add a small container of sauce and maybe some cheese and pepperoni. Your son could put the thing together at school and then he'd have a cold type of pizza but they're really quite good.
