Real Maplestory or Private Maplestory Server?

Personally for me I like to play real Maplestory. But I don't hate private server too. Private server can be fun but only in a short term because you can get to Lv 200 like in 1 day and get all the stuff you want in 1 day too so in the end it really pointless to playing private server. And beside in real server there are more people playing and when you fund yourself in end game you can show off your damage and items but in private server you can't, everyone will have end game fund. That is why it pointless in the end.

I guess playing the original server is better than playing the private server. When you get to high level in the original server you will have a kind of sense of achievement. Where as you get to high level in a private server then its nothing special because everyone around you is equally as pro. One more down side is that private server might not be stable. The server might shut down the next day. Original server is definitely more reliable.

I personally would advise against private servers as it is against the Nexon Terms of Service but I liked them better than the actual game. I thought it was much more fun than the regular (real) Maplestory. It is like your own playground because you can do pretty much anything with it. Free NX! Woot! Holy ****! I can hit more than Tiger! OMG! @%@#@%#@^%#%#$^! I am rich! I have 2,147,483,647 mesos! I am beast! Haha! I can even HAX! lmao. Owning a private server is sort of scary though. If you look at private servers such as OdinMS, you can see how scary it is. OdinMS was fined 300k euros a few years back. Also, you should not donate any money to any private server. It is usually a waste of money because private servers do not last long. I would recommend joining private servers but also recommend that you do not own any private servers. Private servers are set up and to maintain. Most private servers require you to host your own server off your computer (risking your computer to others) or to rent a server that could cost in the hundreds.

I love private servers; especially the private servers with the rebirth option on it. There are many reasons why people should love to play on private servers. One is that you can get any item you could possibly want. This includes NX and super rare items. Two is that the server is pretty much your playground. If you have other people playing on the private server as well, all the better :D Also, it is extremely easy to level so you can try out new jobs if you want. If you are tired of grinding in the original game, then you can try out new jobs in this game. You also have godly damage. The only downside to this game is that it is not updated like the real game. They only have .55 to .75 private servers. The latest gMS version is at .84 right now so.. with private servers, you cant really try new content out.

Private servers are illegal, but they're really fun. I've played some, and you level up really fast! You get free nx too, depending on which server you play. If you don't like the new versions of maplestory that are coming out, then you could always stick to one server! The downside of Maple is leveling really slow, but they have a lot of people! I prefer training at a private server rather than in regular maplestory, but i go on both of them! (:

I prefer the real servers where you aren't spoonfed. Or if it is a private server, one with low rates so it isn't bam 5 minutes and you are max level.

PRIVATE SERVER ??! I've never heard of that ! I'd love to play on a private server if it means leveling up faster. As long as its not a scam and I won't get banned for playing on it.

I don't like private servers that much. Most of the things in normal MapleStory are changed so there's nothing to do. It's like giving everyone super powers so no one is special. Everyone can solo bosses, so why play it? Everyone is lvl 200, you're just the same as everyone else...

I stay away from private servers, it's like using a cheat code on your favorite game. Takes the fun and achievement out of it.
