Why does people choose these low paying ptc's?

Have you ever seen these ptc websites that pays 0.05-0.2 CENTS per click, and pays out at 1 cent? I guess most of us has. These websties does always have the same layout, and they use to close their website in a short time after they create it. Also i have seen some dishonest websites, for example, one of them claimed to give 15 cents as a sign up bonus. But when i clicked all the adds i noticed that i had to reach 1 dollar to get that bonus, wich is almost impossible in these sites. These sites are really a waste of time, i think it is only worth for very unexperienced people that lack of imagination to make money the intelligent ways like writing for some sites. However, I was bored yesterday night and I didn't fell like writing. So i decided to test how much i could do in one hour as an experiment. I joined about 4 websites and made like 5 cents. Now, 20 hours later, i havn't recived payment yet. Lets see what happens later! I think i may post more about this in my blog in some days. Since there are really HUNDRED of better ways to make money, where you can do a lot more that just 5 cents in one hour. Why do you think people still using and promoting these websites? Also have you tryed them? What do you think about these ptc's?
