uhhhhmmm... if my partner has a big purpose to why he would leave the country then i will let him go... i trust my partner very much and i would want him to pursue well in his career. i'm his inspiration not the a hindrance in order for him to fulfill his dreams.

go travel with him whenever possible. If not better stay at home and trust him. Without this trust you will feel insecure. If you love him let him find his own way to succeed.He will come back to you if he really love you.

lixiaoyan, Well, I think before you decide to make your partner stay and not go abroad or away; you will really need to see if there are enough prospect of keeping him at your place. I suppose in life there is never any positive conclusion when we are overbearing or unreasonable. So, opportunity abounds elsewhere and traveling there is just inevitable, then I suppose the wisest thing would be to be supportive here. If you prefer to be with him, then find out if there is any opportunities for you at where he is going. Work on it and see if there are ways you can be there. If not, then I suppose the both of you will have to sit down and talk things over, especially about continuing a relationship that will have to tolerate physical absence of each other.
