You've read that right and Microsoft confirms it. Normally we could install it and use it for 30 days without the need for CD key but what was previously known little secret used by corporate admins can extend it more for 90 days. What surprise me is this thing exist even during the Vista thing. Check the complete article here

So, would you? so tempting ... I would.)

Well Release candidate will have bugs when compared to final RTM version, and few of the features introduced in RTM will be missing in RC but the updates works fine in RC version too. But its not recommended to install RC version on actual system were you work and have important data..
Iam currently waiting for Windows 7 Server.. it will be very fast compared to Windows 7 Desktop edition, this is what i have noticed in Windows 2003 server and Xp and windows 2008 server And Vista..Server editions are always faster than desktop editions ..

Heya, thanks for sharing this with all of us.^_^ Though Im not sure what to do with it. I mean, if Im going to avail or not. Im not that much of a techie you see and as long as my computer and operating system works fine, gets the job done then Im fine with it. I know most people are into Vista nowadays but mine is still XP. I might switch to Vista if I have to reformat the computer due to some virus or something.
Anyway, knowing such things can make for good reference in the future. Thanks again and take care.

You're looking great as ever Bjcyrix.
If you have a spare space in your drive, you could multi-boot window 7 along with our current OS and try it out at a much longer time(4 months). Here you'll know if your machine is up to it, can your applications run in it and does it really improve computing to merit an upgrade. You might even skip vista if seven works for you, if not then simply erase it. They all say its great so I'll try it on this old machine of mine. Thanks and you take care also;)

LOL Why, thank you for noticing ferdz
Erhm, Im not really much into experimenting with my computer. Still have a lot of tasks lined up for it to perform and Id really rather not take the risk of goofing it up because Im not knowledgeable about it.
Goodluck with that though, hope it works well for you.

I am not interested in using Windows 7 even if it provides to us free to use for 30 days. What shall I do after 30 days? I don't want to use a software for so short time. Besides, I like to use Firefox and I am not sure what's the improvement for Windows 7. But as I am satisfied with Firefox, I don't want to download another browser, especially I can only use it for a month.
I love China

Vista really has that reputation, honestly if Windows 7 did not come at such a early date we'll get use to Vista eventually but its here Seven as they call it and with that extended trial period and the early tester positive report I believe most users will switch to this. Thanks Ypyanyan, my cute panda friend
