making money from blogs

i had made some blogs on previous but i was not suceed. Now i am planning to make a good blogs. Where and how can i get information about the subject matter. What type of subject matter does people wants?? and how to get more traffics?
As some people had told me that the subject to be focus to the US, Canada & UK readers.
Because google adsense is focus on them. Besides reader from others countires on other countries google adsense is not better.
They say the blog for locality & nationality is not so good for google adsense.
Can i get information on this matter.?

blog actually represents writer's expertise, profession, point of view, idea, thought etc. So, write about what you know & like others to know, write about your thought,idea, if know solution of a specific problem, give it on your blog. By this, time by time your blog will informative & search engine will find your blog easily. so you will get better traffic, that will bring your profit. Also, try to make your blog with proper meta keywords. I have a discussion on my blog about these. read them if you are interested.
