My daughter is only 20 months old and another baby is on the way. I'm about a month pregnant and by the time I give birth, my first child will be 2 years and 4 months old. How do I prepare her for the coming of a new baby? I don't want her to feel neglected once the new baby is there.

Hello Rakittera, congrates to you. I know how you feel. You worry your No1 will get neglected once the baby is born. As for me, I have 2 kids too, elder is 3 years old and younger is 18 months old. I was just like you. My two kids is too close at their age. In order to get more concentration for the new born, i some how has neglected my focus on my elder daughter. But after I notice of it, i try to balance my time to equally to my 2 kids. When ever I am busy with my small baby, I will ask my hubs to help me up to take care the elder. Do stay calm and do ask family members to help you.

Wow, it's a good thing you're able to balance time for both kids. It's really hard to do that especially since the little one needs more attention. I just want my daughter to be ready and not be jealous of her sibling. I want her to feel special even though there's a new baby in the house. Thanks!
