do you wear skirts in church?

Yesterday morning I wore a dress to church and in the evening I wore jeans. I'm not set on a certain type of clothing for church attendence, but I do try to dress modestly. As we know God doesn't look at our outward appearence, but at our heart. He knows why we come to worship, whether to be seen or to praise and worship him.

Yes, I wear skirts, I wear jeans and shirts, I wear what's modest and appropriate and decent in church. We can alwys wear other kinds of clothing in another place. I think those wearing those clothes you mentioned are thinking it's the most decent thing for them to wear in church. And maybe you're right too about impressing other people.

You should wear what makes you comfortable. It's a house of worship, not a fashion show. Those gathered are there to profess their love and come together in their love for their God.. not to strut around like peacocks. It's only the reason that all are gathered that matters.

So much liberty in today's church. Decency should still play a big role in our life. Our outlook should not be too offensive or encourage lust. Wether in skirt or trouser just appear decent and responsible. Yes church shouldnt be a place to exhibit indecency and it must not be tolerated. Jesus too show an action of disgust when he overturn the tables of the money changers. He said God's house shouldnt be a place where people gamble and encourages all sort of vices. I am sure Jesus too would have reacted badly toward people mode of dresses in todays church
