Please help me my dvd drive icon doesn't appear

I don't know how to fix the problem with my computer. We clean the system unit last Saturday. When I boot it I encoutered problem. Please help me to fix the problem on my pc. I appreciate any help.

I had also that type of problem 2-3 months before. then i checked dvd drive connection. i checked wire carefully and reconnect wire agin to dvd. then i found that problem is solved. So you should check this. I hope your problem will solved.

It is so frustrating because it is happened again the dvd connection is loose again I don't know if the cleaning is helpful or it turned out into disaster. I tried many times to check the dvd connection even if I don't know how to trouble shoot I wanna try to fix the problem.

I had a same problem a week ago.I checked in device manager and the drive was there.Tried updating the driver , but the one i was using was already the best driver for my device .Tried rolling back ,and nothing.After i used system restore,it worked.If the driver doesn't appears after System restore ,it would be good to call a technician. Hope it will help you.
