Indian Holocaust - 10 million Indians killed

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Today I came across a devastating article in the UK Guardian newspaper (dated 2007).
10 MILLION INDIANS were killed in the Mutiny of 1957!
There are new findings being gathered although it is difficult as many papers of that time were snuffed by the British.
This research has been headed by a wonderful gentlemen by the name of Amaresh Misra, a writer and a Historian, from Mumbai and he presents his evidence in his brilliant new book WAR OF CIVILASIATIONS: 1857 AD which was released by the Vice president of India on March 2008.

whether true or an exaggeration, it hardly matters to me. What matters more are the millions of our own countrymen we have murdered in the name of caste and creed and to grab land and property. What matters to me more are the fact that so many criminals are roaming free after murdering illustrious sons and daughters of independent India. Who is going to take them to account? The British were outsiders so one cant expect anything more from them…what are we Indians doing to ourselves?

Thanks for dropping in Sudipta. I am glad to see you concerned with problems within. I would like to add that a problem has MANY angles and should be viewed from ALL directions. The above angle I mentioned is also tied into the problems we face today which is no doubt why the Vice President was behind the book.
