I just had a dental appointment last week in which I ended up having one tooth filled, another tooth sealed to prevent further decay, and one gum area repaired. I have been upset that the gum repair was done without me knowing about it ahead of time, and now I have a new concern. The tooth where he repaired the gum is now jagged. The bottom of the tooth looks like a piece of the tooth has broken off, and in addition there seems to be something jagged in between the teeth. I have never had any problems with flossing this area. It has always been smooth and now my floss tears up when I try to clean the area. Even glide floss which doesn't tear easily! This is is the same tooth which was sealed as well since the root area had exposed for so long. Have any of you had anything similar happen? Should I be angry at the dentist? I am just really frustrated and could use some advice. What should I do?
