Which dental floss brand is the most effective and doesn't shred?

Do you think a certain type or brand of floss is more effective in cleaning the teeth? I have been using Gentle Gum Care which is a woven floss which seems to clean the teeth well. But now I have one tooth which is jagged, like there is something stuck in between. It started right after my dental appointment. What has caused it, I don't know but now the gentle gum care woven floss shreds on this tooth. Should I change my dental floss? What do you guys use? What would you recommend? Should I use another brand just for this tooth alone? What is your experience with different dental floss brands and types?
