I have seen the new movie, Harry Potter and the half blood prince. Compare to all the five movies in the past, I must say that this most recent movie the one that I dislike the most. There are some good part in the book that was greatly covered in the movie but i hate it at the end because they did not do what Dumbledore suppose to be getting in the end. The fight scenes that I have been so excited to and Dumbledore's funeral.
What is your opinion about the said movie? Do you think it worth worth watching?

well guys, actually bringing harry potter into movie it already needed such a great effort, why?
1. The novel is just to great.. and yeah too too thick, cant imagine how many hours the movie's duration. It cost a lot of budget, that is why such a phrase "director's cut" emerged
2. Again.. The novel is just to great, it is hard to fulfilled all of HP fans expectation for the movies (million of fans guys^^)
3. Well Harry Potter: Half-Blood Prince is just a bridge to the end, half of this movie only contain flashback of what happen in the past. So yeah of course it is not as thrilling or amazing like HP other series:)
but well at least the good news, its out guys:D

I was very disappointed at seeing this film, I had already heard a lot of critics saying this film wasn't as good as it's predecessors and after watching it I can understand why, there was no great 'fight' scene in the film, it was full of slushy romance and it tended to be a bit 'slow' and certainly not as entertaining as Order of the Phoenix and the first two films where it was action packed. I re-read the book shortly after seeing the film and I much preferred the book over the film. Whereas all the other films I have seen more than once at the cinema, this is probably the only film where I haven't rushed out to re watch it again. I will buy the dvd obviously to fill my collection. I also feel that the next film will be just as slow and I am bitterly disappointed that they have turned book 7 into two films, which means we've got to wait till 2011 to see the final film, where I have to admit they are going to save all the exciting, fighting bits till, meaning the next film I fear will be just as disappointing as the last one.

The movie was not at all exciting to watch especially the one which you specified.Previous movies were also not up to expectation. The book and the movies do not synchronise at all as most of the movie covers only on issues like love, emotion. You will not have any oppurtunity to watch the fight scences.

Yes, you are right the fight scenes is the one I am looking forward to see whenever I watch Harry Potter, because it is more exciting that whatI have imagine from the book is similar to what I will in the movie, but Harry Potter and the half Blood Prince is a disappointment for me.

You've got it, but to those people who have not read the book yet, they find the movie really good, I and my cousin had an argument about the movie since he have not read the book yet, what I did is hand him my copy of the book and we talked again after a week and he completely agreed with me that the movie is really poor.

I agree 100%. I was really looking forward to the movie but made the mistake of reading the book right before we saw the movie. I felt they left out really important sections and gave away some things you shouldn't find out until the next book. I think if you haven't read the book it is probably a good movie. Definately not one of the best in the series.
