Qingdao is located in the southeast trip of the Shandong Penisula near the Yellow Sea, known as a pearl on the Yellow Sea. It is surrouned by the Yellow Sea on three sides, with the Mountain Lao as a backdrop. It neighbors with DPRK, South Korea, Japan across the sea. It covers the area of 10654 square kilometers. The urban area measures 1102 square kilometers. It has sevev urban districts and five county-level cities. The populatino of Qingdao is more than 7 millions, and urban residents are about 2.5 millions.
