I once had to wait two weeks to get my cats flea medicine! I felt SO bad! They were itching! Don't you wish there was assistance that could be given to pets in time of need?

I'm sorry but myLot pays me to speak my mind and that's just what I'm going to do. Animals are indeed expensive and very time consuming, but you knew that when you got your cats. I'm not sure if you have children, but let's say you do for argument's sake: would you let them suffer an infection for two weeks? No --- you would cut back, borrow, save, do whatever you had to get them better. I consider letting your poor pets live with a parasite on it for two weeks neglect.

I had a two dogs (King and Queen) at one time and it was more expensive to take care of them than it was to care for my two preteen girls. I had to feed them, bath them, walk them, take them to the vet for vaccine shots and heartworm and roundworm treatments, take them out to pee two to three times a night, clean up their poop, wash their cages when they had accidents, buy new shoes when they chewed them up. Yeah, I wish there was someone who could have assisted ME in MY time of need, lol. Although I loved them and had fun with them, it was really exhausting and time consuming and letting them go to someone else who had the time and money to care for them was the best thing I could have ever done for King and Queen.

One reason I do not have any pets is that I feel that I have enough financial responsibility and would not want to put a pet at risk. I did have pets before and was in aposition where I could not afford pet food. This pet ended up getting table scraps all of the time. After that pet, I haven't gotten any more. I felt too badly about the whle situation. The animal, by no means starved, but just the thought that I was unable to buy it the right food made me feel horrible.

Pets are very expensive to have! I find that I take them to the vet and it is always a few hundred dollars each time! Lately, I have been putting it off as long as possible because there are other expenses that are just more important. I always feel badly doing that, but as long as they aren't in pain or anything, I figure they are probably happy not to get a shot anyway, lol.
