Why can't i rate??

Hi friends, I joined the myLot 2 hours ago. Whenever i attending the discussions, i rate it. But if i refresh the page, it doesn't seems to be rated. I rated many, but didn't show like rated it. Still a + sign is there. Why?

I think I would have to agree with Mike, that you need atleast 100 posts to be able to rate other peoples discussions or responses. The reason for this is because people make many accounts to try and purposely rate other people bad. Simply cause they don't like them. It's kind of different when you have 100 posts, cause someone wouldn't go to the trouble to make a nother account and do 100 posts, just to rate somebody badly. I'm sure if you love mylot, you'll reach 100 posts in no time! Goodluck.

Hi pweety_princess, You are absolutely correct. I like your response very much. But i guess you may have approached this in the positive way like this.. People want to make their reputation higher to earn more, So, they make up a new user id to rate themselves positive. To avoid that they restrict the users to rate before 100. I had sent you FR. Many times there are glitches here in the system, so sometimes this site has a hard time registering your ratings, etc. Someone else here said it could be because you are Newer, but last night when you originally started this discussion this site was acting really Slow for me and I have been here almost 3 yrs and have high speed internet. But no matter what, sometimes there are glitches here but myLot is always a great place to be.

Hi krause, I agree, myLot is a great place to be which i already know from my friend. I was with him while he responded the myLot with his profile. I am happy to say that i learned more about myLot before i joining this website.But still i don't know something which cannot be taught by my friend. During experiences i have to learn some more here. I think the other responders are correct. It is not good to allow a new user to rate others before they get in to 100 posts. There are many wrong practice will happen like rating the users negative more or rating every one positive like this. I guess myLot is good as like now. I agree that myLot is having less speed compared to other websites having the same page size. It may be due to the huge traffic here. I hope they will upgrade their server soon to manage more traffic. Thanks for your presence in my discussion..happy... Have a great day.
