Do you know never keep sharp edged things in the open

ya...i have kids at my home...and i know it very well that its very dangerous to keep such things in open....many accidents occur due to carelessness of such things...i mostly keep them in upper shelves but many times, my children use it for craft work and such other things...and leave it lying on the floor etc...but i pay attention and also warned them to keep it in proper place after using. About getting such things i n gifts i dont think that anyone must be chosing such things for gift..neither i have given nor got till now.
