REcommendation on new spec

you can try the following spes. its extremely good. Intel core quad q8200 4 gb ram intel DG35ec motherboard. NVidia 8600 gt 512 mb or ati radon hd4850. 500 gb hard disk These make up a very good computer at a very affordable price. If you are planning to buy an amd processor then make sure that you have sufficient cooling in your environment. I know people whose pc just reached temperatures of around 80 degrees celcius and had faced problems.

If you are a gamer then, you have to put some things in mind, the most basic thing to consider when buying a computer meant for gaming is, (1) The type of Processer I would recomend an AMD 64 Bit and it should be Dou and above i am not so sure if Amd have a quard core yet but you can do a research before buying one. Any thing beyond 1.8 MHz duo would work for me coz the speed would handle most of the current games in the market currently. (2)The RAM This is another impornant factor to consider its very vital, i recomend istalling a higher RAM because games demand too much of it when gaming, i would recomend anything above 2GB of ram. (3) Video Ram and the video type This is the skeleton of gaming without a good graphics card you will not enjoy most of the games available in the market today please choose wisely because their are quite a number of graphics card available in the market. But Most people prefer Gforce for gaming with atleast One (1) Gb of Ram other things you might base are the Cache, Hardisk size, etc, etc
