Was it a mistake to create human with such abilities for knowing, thinking, reasoning, and making their own decisions and choices.
when god created human - he made them to have personality and individuality as a indipendent being - he made them the greatest of all being on the planet maybe universe ... is this 'misjudgement"
Did this gifts of god made human to be rebellious and go up against the creator and claim "God does not exist"

No, God was not mistaken when He created human beings. In fact we are God's masterpiece that's why we were the last of His creations. The unfortunate incident came when man was put to the "big test" if he would choose God or not. And this is "free choice", "free will". Actually, man could resist the temptation of Satan, as the other responder says, but he chose to disobey God. Pride leads him to disobey God because he also wanted to be like God. His disobedience became our "sinful nature" now that only the Son of God could cure. That's why God gave His Son, Jesus, to redeem our fallen nature on the cross by believing, accepting Jesus in our hearts as Lord and Savior and obeying Him. I have realized as others also, that when Jesus dwells into the heart and life of a person, only then he could be able to resist temptation of all kinds and obey God. God's blessings.

hi levite ...
who put the human to the "big test" - GOD
If there was not "free choice" & " free will" human might not have questioned God .. Right ?

Free will, free choice is God's gift to us because He does not want to control us like robots. He wanted us to freely choose Him or not. He wants us to freely love Him or not. The choice is ours. Free will is the best gift God has ever given humans. What does it feel if you're being controlled by others?. God is love that's why he does not want to control us.

you are totally right and i agree with you ... but due to that people now are either questioning him or even killing in his name ...
at least for the animal, 1 lion eat 1 deer...and that is also for meal only but for man , 1 man kills hundreds of man+woman+old people+children ...

hi Sanjana,
so you think God created a Frankenstein in creating humans? Well, it certainly looks so!
However, I don’t believe God created humans like the way its mentioned in religious books but humans came as a natural outcome of evolution and natural selection. And yes, humans have the most developed brains in the animal kingdom and if we are using that brain to demystify God and understand Him better, I think its all the more beneficial for entire human race. Just think of how many wars have been fought in the name of religion! Yet, now we can understand that most of these wars were political vendetta or land-grabbing tactics by men in power and position.

hi sudip ...
it is so sad that the humans are all fighting for religion when GOD is only one ... they should use those brains to actually uncover "GODs mystery"
cheers

i believe it is somehow a mistake ... he should have stopped after creating the animals and the plants .. as they will survive the planed without harming the planet and destroying the amazon, vanishing the ozone ... and hunting & killing animals ... mutilating animals & planets ... many more
tq for the blessings ... same to you

Big mistake. Maybe he should just wipe us all out. Then this world would be a better place. Wolves and lambs, cats and mouse would live happily ever after.
If god showed himself or gave humans proper signs of his existence, then no one would doubt him.
So why is god not coming to earth and showing himself/herself? Is it so difficult?

The rebelliousness came about courtesy of Lucifer, an angel who was banished from heaven because of his pride and became Satan. In the form of a serpent, Satan tempted our first parents (Adam and Eve), who ended up disobeying God's command not to eat of the tree of life.
Man was not originally created to be rebellious, nor was he created to be prideful. It is this pride that causes someone to state that "God does not exist".

hi i have read about Lucifer ... and his mission
as you said originally man were not rebellious but the "lerning capabilities" as the one that has somehow altered their way of thoughts and made them rebel against GOD himself ..
we should also be created like the animals ... who just know how to lead their life as destined by GOD ... no questions asked

Greetings!
Well i beg to disagree that god made a mistake by creating human. God is a genius because he doesn't want the human to limit their thoughts or knowledge on what he gave us.. Human find ways to discover everything.. And about questioning if god really exist is not that bad because as i said he doesn't want to limit our knowledge on what he gave us.. he want us to be adventurous and discover more.

We have to consider the concept of God.
If you consider Gos as impersonal, cosmic consciousness of which all of us are part and parcel, then the question of man rebelling against God does not arise because there is nothing other than God. Neither can a mistake happen in the universe.
But if you believe in the Abrahamic God, then it is true that man rebelled against God. Since I consider such a God as imaginary, I cannot say he has committed a mistake because imaginary creatures cannot commit mistakes.
