People and addiction

I have seen so many people go through addiction especially my mother. I always wanted to know what really causes addiction. Is it something in your brain? Is it just the substance? What is it? Please tell me what you think about the suject or just share your addiction stories. Thank you.

hmmm interesting....i think its earlier just trying a thing and when it gives enjoyment...it leads to adicition...i am addicted to net, and not many otehr things, its just sometimes u get addicted as u have no other option...like i dont go out much as have household responsibilities....so maybe..its becoz of no other option that we become addict.....we feel uneasy without it....thoguh we can live without it...rest things like music etc are hobbies adn ways of relaxing...but i think using internet is becoming addiction for me...as though i know its side effects...i still go on using it till i am tired enough ...
