If someone told you...?

If someone came up to you tomorrow, said you had won a trip to any country in the world with everything included for 6 months, but the catch was you were only able to go to this country and no others in your life, which would you pick and why? I think this would be a very tough decision for me as I aspire to see the world, but if I had to pick, I guess I would go with Australia.

Why would you pick Australia...you can't say "Australia" without giving the reasons...that's an empty discussion.

hubby and I are saving for anniversary trip to Europe we will be back packing so if it is one continent to choose, Europe it is but if it's only one country, Egypt is the one

You will have a blast backpacking in Europe. I did Western Europe and the Mediterranean last summer, and it was the time of my life.

I think I'd choose South America. My partner and I have been talking about going there for a long time, so if we were given 6 months to explore somewhere, I think that is definitely where we'd choose to go.

I'd go to Cornwall. It looks so peaceful and pleasant, and I'd really love exploring the countryside and the lovely little fishing villages. I'm completely over crowds and shopping - so I'd like somewhere quiet.

I think I would pick Chile. It is a long, narrow country so there would be lots of different temporate areas. From being on the ocean, to mountains, jungles to hot or cold...it's all there. I could easily find 6 months worth of exploring around.

I'd like to go to Chile, as well. Plus, I hear it's extremely expensive to fly to Easter Island, so it would be nice to have someone else pay that expense. :)

I wish someone would do this for real, I would pick New York. I have always wanted to go but I never have enough money. My friend went and she loved it. I just always have wanted to go every since I was little.

Hi bree! I like your choice! I would love to go to Australia too! I think there is so much beauty to see there and they have such incredible animals too! But, I wouldn't like to have to go there alone and not knowing anyone and for six months! Maybe if I were younger I wouldn't mind! If it was now I think that I would like to go to England and meet up with all the wonderful friends that I have made here on mylot! Now that I wouldn't mind doing!

It is a tough question, because I love travelling and I hope to visit as many countries as possible I think that China, Japan and India could all be very interesting to visit, but if I had to pick one country I would probably say India. When I was 7 or 8 years old I often visited one of my classmates and her parents had been to India many times. They told me many stories, showed me the things they that bought etc, it all sounded very fascinating and from that moment it became one of my goals to visit India. That was about 25 years ago, many things have changed since then and I am an adult now, but it is still one of my goal to visit India. I would love to travel around in India for 6 months

that's really interesting and a tough one! I think I'd pick..Japan! They have different seasons and temperatures. Technology is also awesome. There's good shopping, nightlife and food!
