How do you get to work? Drive, Train, Bus, Ferry? Which do you prefer?

I have commuted to work all different ways. Before my office moved I used to take the train and then the ferry. Now I just take a bus. I thought I would hate taking the bus, as I always used to get sick on them , but I actually really enjoy it . Do you commute to work? How do you get there and what do you think is the fastest and most comfortable? Or are you lucky enought to work from home?

I have to drive to get to work no bus no trains. I live about 7 mile from my townon a nice small farm, and that is the reason for the car. Will retire in a few year so will not have to worry about driving as much. I have lived in places that were large cities, where I use the bus to get to work and the bus is the only way to go

I work in NY so I need to take some kind of public transportation. It would be a nightmare driving back and forth. I would prefer to drive to work, as long as traffic wasn't too bad, but not in to NY. It's nice that you live on a farm, that is a dream for my husband and I. Maybe one day. Thanks for your comment!

I have had many different jobs in the past, and I often had to go by train or by bus to get to my job. I had a job that I liked very much, it wasn't in my own town so I had to go by train every day, but I didn't mind commuting, because it was a great job. I have also worked in my own town. I don't have a car, so I usually biked or walked to work. Sometimes I had to use my bike in my job for instanse when I was visiting patients in their home, but I actually prefer to walk to work. Now I work at home most of the time, and that is very nice.

i would like to take the train and bus, but in this area theres not a lotof mass transit. instead, this area focuses on individual transportation. so on congested days, traffic can add more than a hour in your time

He he he. My work is just below my house. I work in a school. The school is below the provided house for us. Am I so lucky? I just have to go down the stairs and I am in my office or work. Well, the fastest and most comfortable transportation is a car or taxi. hehehe happy every day!

I go to work with my husband. We use a motorbike and the office isn't far from our house. Our office is going to move to a new same building. It'll be so much nearer, about 5 minutes, yay!
