As you are aware on this earth, everywhere is Ganesha. His existance you can see anywhere. In India we call his Ganesha, out of India, people call his Elephant head God. He is god of knowledge. His whole body says something about our day to day life. Like his big ears says listen carefully. and mouth says only truth you have to speak and speak less. His elephant head says think big. If anybody devotee here wants to share his knowledge about Ganapati please share his/her experiences.

Ganesha is God, how can be his roommate? I think you are very interested in Hinduism. Can you tell me why we say christanity and other religion has -ism. like Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism? If you don't know answer then you can ask father of church. GOD means Generator, Operator, Destroyer in Hinduism there are three gods for the same Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh(Shankar).

hi i am a devotee of Lord Muruga .. but as the story goes , we have to pray to Lord Ganesha before any other God ... there is a teaching also that when we pray to Lord Muruga for any blessing without approching Lord Ganesha first it may not be blessed cheers
