They can certainly be entertaining. However, I don't think movies ever do the comic books justice. Especially since they end up changing the story lines to fit the movies.

I like most comic books turned into movies as well as games turned to movies. I tend to just assume they are movies and if I really like the movie then I will find the comics and check them out. I really like the games into movies idea. I liked the Resident evil games before the movie came out and I still like the movies. To each their own I guess.

I really liked Batman begins; it has a good chance of being better than the first 4 movies that Tim Burton started with the 1989 film "Batman". I also liked the 1st Spider-Man movie; Elektra; Daredevil; and the X-Men movies.
I somewhat liked "Hulk", but thought that it could have been better. I also liked "Superman Returns", but felt that movie could have been better as well. Spider-Man 2 was good, except that I felt Peter Parker revealed his identity to too many people, and the special effects of the 'artificial sun' going into the water, wasn't all it could be.
I'm looking forward to Spider-Man 3 and Ghost Rider.

I have had a few disappointments (The Hulk, Daredevil, Catwoman), but over all I enjoy comics to movies. I go way back with comics and waited a long time to see these characters as real life people and to be done in a caliber that it's being done now.

Movies don't match up with the comic. Shocker.
They can still be good movies.

Sometimes the only great about these films are the CG effects and soundtracks. Not counting the "Punisher"...not a convincing movie version.
