my computer is a piece of crap HELP!

alright here's my complaints: my computer started crashing when i updated to XP SP3 awhile back. now it crashes during boot and sometimes doesn't boot at all. sometimes it crashes before it comes to the login screen, sometimes after right after i login, sometimes when it almost finishes logging in. CRASH BOOT CRASH BOOT, it's frustrating as hell. Sometimes it lets me start internetting and then crashes halfway through loading a web page. I am pretty sure that my hard drive is partially corrupted but I have no way of fixing it and no money to get a new comp. I joined mylot to help get some money so I could fix the thing or just get a new one. The place I ordered my computer from never sent me any windows installation disks so I can't do a fresh install of windows either. This sucks, I want to be more active on mylot to earn extra money and also started an affiliate marketting job 2 weeks ago, but I roll the dice everyday as to whether or not my computer is gonna let me get any work done. I am unemployed and am having a real hard time getting a "real job". Mylot and my affiliate gig are the only things that give me hope, I need a hand here. Who has some suggestions? Who wants to be my friend? Any wealthy mentors looking for an understudy to earn Karma points with? I need suggestions for my computer and sympathy from my fellow mylotters, please... I am at my wits end here.
