I am a big horror flick junkie and I love watching them. I am wondering what movies are other peoples favorites, just to see if I haven't watched some or should watch some over again. Let me know!

My favorite horroe movie ? Let me see. Ok, my favorite would be "Dracula" ! Real horror. I watched that movie once and I just couldn't sleep the whole night, really horrified ! I even decided I wouldn't warch that movie alone again. Ha ha ! There are other very good ones I have watched too. But, "Dracula" is the most horrifying to me !

Ha ha. Similar to Dracula is Twilight. A modern vampire story in a soft way narration.

once when i was a kid , i saw a movie called raat, it was a very scary movie and checking my age which was 9-10 years old, it was surely a thing to be scared and over all watching the film alone where everyone near by was fast asleep. in those scary scenes, i covered my face at the bach of my mom when she was sleeping. But now these pictures do not affect me much, even they dont frighten me but i love watching scary programmes like shhh... koi hai and horror shows etc.

Years ago in the US TV stations would show horror movies on Saturdays unershow titles with names like Chiller Theater. They used to have studio hosts who would do strange things in between showing the movies. I remember some of the movies fro the '50's as being scary then, particularly "Plan 9 From Outer Space". Now I see those movies as funny, especially the science fiction movies with bad science. Today, I miss those movies because they rarely show them.

The Saw movies are definitly my favorite horror movies! Although, they do get a little too graphic for me. I like less gore and blood...just plain horror.

When deciding my favorite films, I have always had a difficulty with horror films. I would say that among the top films are the first two original Halloween films, Freddy VS Jason, Rob Zombie's Halloween, Friday the 13th 2009, and probably the few slasher type films where they actually do kill everyone instead of having one person left alive at the end. Of course, those usually are SyFy originals, or otherwise listed as TV movies. I think the film that actually made the most impact on me when I was younger was Silver Bullet, based on the Cycle of the Werewolf novels by Stephen King. Anything that I've seen that was based after a Stephen King novel is among the top ten.

Fellow horror movie junkie here! I have seen a lot of good horror films and have lots of favorites. My tops at this moment would be Saw and Pulse. Saw was really intense and had a great surprise ending while Pulse is the only good Japanese remake in my opinion where only the idea was copied and a whole new story formed from it. All hail the scary flicks

For modern horror movies, I think John Carpenter's original "Halloween" set a standard that other movies tried to top (usually by adding gore). The original "Alien" was also good. Lastly, there is the Phantasm series which was great for a low budget series. I hear that there is a script written for Phantasm 5 and all the original actors have agreed to come back.

Orphanage. It's about a child had been killed by some kids unintentionally and that child haunted those kids even until they are grown up. It happened in the orphanage and it's quite scarry.
