As the topic says, Is there any games that you guys bought but stopped playing a few minutes in? Recently I bought two DS games, Luminous Arc and Children Of Mana. I did not really like the controls of Luminous Arc and I bought Children of Mana because it was part of the Mana series by Square Enix. I played Sword of Mana and really liked it but for some reason I did not really like Children of Mana. Do not get me wrong, the games are not bad, just not for me.

Alot of games actually. Mostly DS titles I'm ashamed to admit. I did pick up the 360 title cold planet something. A shooter set on a frozen world with infuriating controls. I couldn't stomach it. I also got very bored with Guitar Hero World Tour. The setlist was weak and couldn't stack up to any previous GH games or Rock Band titles.

All three were given as gifts to me.
1) Eternal Ring(PS2), The controls are weird...Trigger buttons controlled walking and strafing, right stick handled view...then left did something weird (can't remember what) and the attacks were done using the buttons...very clunky controls and very difficult to learn given most first person games use both sticks to control movement and view.
2) Maniac Karts(PC), Where to start...pixelated graphics on a 2000 game...controls had three settings...doing nothing, turn too slow and turn fast enough to spin out at a tap of a key.
3)Alien Hominod(PS2), Kinda fun 2D scrolling platformer...but it's just annoying to play...you die too easily and the cutsy cartoony graphic style got to me. And yes I know it's based off an internet flash game...but come on seriously

Mine was Ferrari Challenge for PS2.I stopped playing it within 5 minutes from the start. It was nothing to what I had expected from it and it was also one of my first games on the PS2.

Dont get me wrong i love Unreal Tournament but I just bought the most recent one and nobody was online so i stopped playing it after the first match, after i found out that the "storyline" was no more than a set group of matches (ex: Deathmatch Deathmatch CTF then Warfare) it was kind of disapointing
