Well in the last few years I have seen many movies that seemed like good choices and in the end where just lame, so I want to know what is the best movie you have seen and why, I like any kind of movies so if know a good movie tell me the name and why is your favorite.
And just to put an example one my favorite movies is V for Vendetta, sometime ago I read the comic and when I saw the movie I felt very pleased as it show how a man can change the ideology o many being a human that can't fly or use any kind of super power. Finally thanks and keep posting.

Like MrsV163 I can't pick just one, but I will narrow it down to only a few. But before I do, I must say I like how you stated the Best ever seen instead of asking for our favorite. Because we all know sometimes our favorite can be lame with no meaning what so ever. Anyway, the best movies I ever saw were: The Notebook, American History X(Edward Norton), Philadelphia. Those are just three off the top of my head when the phrase "best movie" pops up. I feel The Notebook was one of the best because it tells of how deep true love can really go. It shows us that through anything love will sustain all, if it's true love. I feel American History X was a best movie because it tells of racism from a different stand point. It shows how racism can be taught, learned, and then walked away from. It shows how certain ways we live affect others in our life now and in the future. It's a great movie. And do I really need to say why Philadelphia was a great movie? I mean really, anyone who doesn't think that is a great movie has some serious problems, and should probably watch American History X first.
And those are just three movies that I think are the BEST movies I've ever seen.

I cannot pick just one, that's impossible. But the one that I always think about when I see this question is Dirty Dancing, lol..I was about 13-14 when it hit the theaters. I guess it just takes me back to a carefree time in my life. I loved the dancing. My frieds and I tried to imitate those dances all summer that year, haha..And I loved the storyline and of course Patrick Swayze. I never get tired of seeing it. I lost count long ago.
