I think a child adoption agency is the first place. And then there are a lot of charities which place orphan babies from other countries in secure home in US. Please congratulate the family for having taken such a decision and God bless them.

It's a long process if you really adopt a child in one institution, there are some orphanage that they render service in adoptation but needs to process in legality. Like me I have an adopeted daughter, but it was given to me by my sister, and that was legal the child is with our name. If you will adopt a child see to it that it will be legal so that you cannot cope up with problems someday.

I think if I wanted to adopt I would first do a little research online and see what is offered in the area I live. I would also pray about it because that is huge decision to make and you woulc want your friend or yourself to know that is it the right thing to do. Take care and happy mylotting friend:)

I had to wonder about this situation after i said i would help out. I received no answer, when i asked why they didn't go through an adoption agency, or other resource, so then i had to consider, what would happen to the child, if i did help them. I think i no longer wish to help this couple, since they could not give me legitimate details on different matters.
