hey friends, can somebody please explain to me why our hair has such a strong affect upon how we feel about ourselves? I know that sometimes I will stay inside for days if my hair isn't presentable, what about you?

Hey city,
Why did u change yr avatar? . Anyways well i dont feel bad at all when my hair isnt looking good, lol. The reason for that is I cut my hair extreamly short, almost bald. Its hassle free. I just have to take shower and put on my clothes and bingo! iam ready.
No need of make up, no need of combing also!
Cheers,
Tutul

Our hair is said to be our crown and glory. Whenever we have a bad hair day, we tend to feel uncomfortable with our over all look. What I do when I can't seem to control my hair is to tie it in ponytail or i'll shampoo it again and put some hair cuticle coat before it dries.

Haha.. Citychic, I am the same kind of yours..
I remember I had cancelled even some of my important schedule and went late to some programs. Its all due to my hair as it hooked up suddenly. Always when I go out, I like to show me out in Good Personality(not in my best personality)
So, I think we are worried due to our personality affecting factor, when our Hair is Hooked up.
Happy Postings my Friend..
Have a Great Time..

I Couldn't say, I always have great hair days! Other people sometimes tell me otherwise, but what do they know it isn't their hair.

When i go out, i like to look my best, or at least presentable, so i somewhat understand your dilemma....but what i don't get is why you just don't do something with your hair on the first day to make it presentable so you don't have to be ashamed to go out?
I like to have my hair look nice and do my makeup and wear something pretty on occasion, even if i DON'T have any plans, as just knowing that i look my best makes me feel better and lifts my mood. Roomates eventually got tired of asking me if i had a date, or plans for the night whenever they would see me get dolled up, because my answer was usually..nope..i was just bored...and this was true! but i also found that if i made myself up and got dressy, i was more apt to go out looking for something to do..and thus creating fun in my life!
