In my opinion we often feel compelled to judge our personal success using our age, our professional position, our level of education, or the accomplishments of our peers as a yardstick. Yet, I believe that we can all enjoy the major milestones in our lives at the appropriate time and it isn't the same for everyone. Some will realize their dreams as youngsters while others flourish only in old age. If we take pride in our accomplishments and make the most of every circumstance in which we find ourselves, then our time will come. What are your thoughts?

Hello Pose. I have not been in a hurry to succeed in life, but steadily make a little progress. I am happy with my current life and work though I am not that successful compared with people of my generation or the next generation. I have a stable life and a stable job with somewhat a little bit higher salary than the average that people get. I am actually content with both my life and work. To me, it is some success to some extent.

Hi williamjisir, Thank you for commenting and I believe that you are more successful than most people. Success doesn't have to mean a lot of money or other material things, nor does it mean fame or gaining the praise of millions of people. My understanding of success is being happy with the life that you are living. Fame and fortune does not always bring happiness and is certainly not for everyone. Blessings.

hey pose i didnt my schooling well and got of school with very less scores. this made me hard to get a god college and i had to join a technical diploma which i never liked. but i was enjoying my life with my friends and never bothered about whats to next in life but a day came when i stared realizing that all my friends are in very good position and i really regretted for what i was doing so long. Since that time i was searching and never succeed to get one long time. after my continuous attempts of 25 interviews i got my first job at 26 interview. I learnt life is not easy and since then i have put my hard work and now im in a one of the biggest company in my country with good salary. now some of friends are shocked to see my growth.

I agree completely, that's a lovely way to put it. I go through stages where I feel intense pride over where I am in life and I also go through ones of almost semi panic because there are things that still feel so far away. When we bought our house I felt it a success and when we got married it was another major milestone but when I think about how far away we are from having kids it seems like we're lagging a little behind. I know that there's nothing wrong with waiting until everything is right but it still feels like it's so far away.

I love being young! I mean so many people spend so much time wishing they could grow up and get rich that they miss the things in life that really matter. I refuse to be this way. I do not like not being wealthy, no I would love to be rich. But you also have to think of the things that come with being rich. Some people become greedy, selfish, and cold-hearted. But others do help people and show that money doesn't create greed. God Bless.

Everyone sure else in a hurry to attain the success in his/her life.
But goals are achieved only through sustained hard work, our integrity and well sincerity too. There are people who would have got success quick enough, but there would have been a lot of dedication involved by the person before going for the goal of his life, luck also has a good roe to play at times.

Not really, but there are cases when there is no progress in career. It is almost 5 years I am working in IT, after passing out engineering, standing First in university, from a premium institute. Still there is no progress in sign. I am paid very less, have got no good designation or any onsite assignment till now. So I am thinking time is passing so quickly and I am left behind.

Hi subha. Thank you for your comment. You sound like you are bogged down in a situation and seeing no way out. You may have to begin by thinking positive, there is always a way and you can find it. Don't give up because you may just start complaining and many a bright career has ended that way. Blessings.

Great Thoughts I must say. Well I think we all try to become successful as soon as possible in Life. However It wont be that easy to achieve it. Those who does achieve are the lucky ones. But we must Keep trying for our goals & never be disappointed at simple failures & troubles.
All the best for a Successful Life!

Yes I am in a hurry to succeed in life. My reason, which is stupid is because of my peers. Seeing them succeed, motivates me to be better, so I try and chew more that I can handle, which can cause problems for me. I do not want to be left behind while people are moving forward.

I felt I succeeded in raising my children, being widowed in their grade school days. I sent them to good schools and now they have their jobs, as a single parent, I surpassed all the trials. At my fifties, however I feel I'm in a hurry to succeed more, to have something of value to be left for them as I feel they still need something more from me for much much better lives. Though things quite hard now, I still hope I can make it.

In my opinion many of us will be content with our achievements as long as we are not disturbed and don't know how our friends at college are doing. But when we come to know that our friends at college are doing very well and have many achievements than we do then we feel a sudden rush to succeed ourselves but I feel that success never comes in rushing. It comes with carefull planning and hardwork and we enjoy the fruits of success we ought to not before nor after....

are you in a hurry to suceed in life? my answer will b pretty diplomatic first i say yes bcos in real life u will hav ur own identity only when u suceed in your life by achieving ur aims and goals and i will say no bcos life is full of advemterous and it is the right time to enjoy it and discover the secrets of nature. so sometimes we should be in hurry and sometimes we should let things to happen as they are going to be
