Do you buy a Laptop of whats on the inside or whats on the outside

OK people buy laptops these days and something i go into wallmart and her people saying lets get this computer becuase its pink and i like pink (i dont link pink this is just a example) so what do you buy a laptop for

i'd like a pretty color but no don't have one that's different. we just looked at price and what you got with it specs etc. i've had the one i use for about 18months now i think or it could be longer. the other one my partner uses was only bought in jan this yr. it's boring old grey.

I do not look at the appearance when I am looking for a laptop. I am more concerned about the specs, the weight, how large is the screen, how clear/bright is the screen, how fast is the processor etc.

My first priority in choosing a laptop is the specs.
I ask my self if the specs is enough for what i am going to use for.
Second the prize, if it is with in my budget and the quality of the brand is still good.
Lastly, the appearance.
If I can have all these things in a single brand then, it would be very great.
