People Usually prefer Laptop than Desktop (for personal use) even though a Laptop gets heated & cannot be placed on the lap & has to Placed on a table. Some say that desktops are better for personal use. So what do you prefer?

mobility is a great factor for laptops, I wish it had more battery power than 3 hrs!

I prefer laptop so that I can bring it anywhere I want to. As I always moved around, laptop is more convenient for me than desktop. I also like desktop and plan to ahve one once I settled down in a permanent place. I also wish to buy a lighter and smaller laptop than the one I have now. The one that I'm using now is quite heavy and big.

well the thing is that the laptops are very handy to use and very comfortable to carry where ever you go and so people tend to like them a lot. plus they are more personal than the desktop. generally laptops are not used y others and people can be more personal with their laptops. i have a mini laptop which only i use and no one uses it. i have a password at bios and also for the windows which are different. and so i am relaxed about the information that i store in it.

Privacy & security uh? hmmm seems like lots of personal data in it. Its really great to know about it? Out of my curiosity,I would just like to know, is a mini laptop as effective as normal ones?

The basic and the best advantage of a laptop over desktop is it is mobile and can be carried anywhere. You can work wherever you want and at anytime. The problem is people don't have enough time searching for desktops or waiting for computers to be free from others so they can work.So they opt for laptops..But i think the main purpose is we can work anywhere and anytime if we have a laptop

How Long? The question is how long can you keep a laptop mobile? Remember that the batter can last for a maximum of 3hrs usually.

I prefer using a laptop as its biggest advantage is portability. You can take your laptop anywhere you want to, your bed, your table, even your toilet! Just remember not to flush it! ;)
Yes I understand it gets heated up but you can always use a pillow on your lap or a soft board for stability and comfort.
Nowadays when everything is getting smaller and faster in size, it is best for us to keep in pace with the technology or else we may not be able to catch up later on.
