Has Anyone Tried The Living Well Pain Relief Spray?

I was watching one of those infomercials that has Montel Williams and he endorses this Pain Relief Spray that is supposed to be good for any kind of arthritis, muscle pain, fibromalygia--you name it. Rather than using a heat therapy type thing, it does a cooling method to stop pain. Supposedly its made of all natural ingredients (yet haven't discovered what yet)--and of course, it's only available via the web or phone call orders. I was trying to see if it's a scam type thing and haven't found anything yet.
I'm still going NUTS with my wrist pain (of course I keep re-aggravating it like an azzhole) and hoping to find something to lessen my pain.
Here's the website about the pain-relief spray
http://www.montelwilliams.com/pain-relief-system.html
The real main problem is that it's a bit pricy...$39.99 plus $7.99 shipping and of course, if one orders soon one can get another bottle free....Just want to know if anyone has used this, if so did it work. If not and you're in pain, would you try this or not? I hate to spend so much for something that just might not work.

Write to them and ask for an MSDS sheet. If they are in this country they are required by law to provide that upon request. My guess is that it's not much different than IcyHot, or similar products. I've never heard of anyone saying that they work.
One thing I have heard that some people have tried and gotten relief from (besides the borage oil that I keep telling you about) are copper or magnetic bracelets. Both are supposed to be good, my uncle swears by his QRay bracelet. I believe they have a 30 trial.

I was looking to see if they had an email addy to write to..nope...they have a phone number but it's for orders only...that kind of sounds strange no? Haven't been able to find that borage oil and was surprised since my Walgreen's usually has a lot of herbal supplements--in other words they seem to have every else BUT borage oil--I'll see about that bracelet

If that spray stuff is sold thru a website, you can maybe find more information about the seller by entering the web address at www.whois.com
As far as the Qray bracelets, any copper or magnetic bracelet would do the same thing. Marcasites also can have pain relieving properties. I'm surprised about the Walgreens. I've bought it at Walmart and thought they were the same company. Did you ask the pharmacist? Maybe it's available and he can bring it in for you.

I guess it must not be the spray he is talking about, but it certainly sounds similar to what I've used. My parents bought some in a store that does exactly what you're talking about. And it does help. It helps my dad's arthritis in his knees, and it helps my mom's fibromyalgia. I've used it before, and on occasions it has gotten rid of my neck pain. Oh wait, I just thought of the name - Stop Pain spray. It's made of natural ingredients, and uses the cooling method. It doesn't cost 40 bucks though.

I think you would be paying for the name. I did not find specific ingredients, so I am only generalizing. There are a half dozen other sprays on the market for $9.95, they all seem to be really similar to some of the creams. Menthol, peppermint, wintergreen, eucalyptus, MSM, glucosamine, and some have EMU oil. I used Blue Emu or some similar cream and thought it was expensive for wrist pain. It was effective at first. I also bought some wrist bands like for tennis, but with copper in them. Also used some hand braces with magnets. I do not know what finally helped but the pain went away. Got the braces etc. from Dr. Leonard's Catalog. I just find the Montel Williams spray to be totally overpriced. I like creams that have Capsaicin, but those are heat producing. I think they really help. Good luck Pye.

Pye, the pepper creams come in anything from .025 to .75 strength. I am not surprised though, that it made you have a rash. My grandma got the same effect making hot pepper catsup for my grandpa.

I tried the Capsaicin once...couldn't use it as I believe it or not broke out in a rash I'll take a look at the Dr. Leonard's Catalog...the real problem is being on a tight budget with SSI...it's often hard for me to buy a lot of things

Contact them and see idf there is somewhere close to you where you can try it out...explain what you explained here. I recently saw something similar at an on-line chemist and it was about the same price which is strange. I'm thinking it might be an Aussie product with emu oil in it. I'd like to try it too because I'm having a lot of wrist and shoulder pain, all over my body pain in fact.

There doesn't seem to be anywhere one can contact them save for orders only and it seems one can only get this product via there website...wish they at least had a cheaper trial size

Haven't heard of it - think he uses it for his Multiple Sclerosis? I love the cold ones - only I've ever used - like icy-hot. When you have pain in the summer it has the added benefit of cooling you off.

I cant think that I would spent what wou ld
be almost forty eight dollars for something that might not even'work.I can get relief with ibuprofen but I cannot take much of that. a few'years back my d octor had me on a huge dosage of ibuprofen for my arthritis in my knees and i ended up with 20 percent kidney damage.my kidneys are okay now but I wont take any more chances. sadly to say when I was on all that ibuprofen I had no pain but who wants to lose their kidneys that way not me.

I've never taken Ibuprofen or Tylenol a day in my life...usually rely on nothing more than aspirin and not even that all the time...but I'm glad I never did take those others since lately I've been hearing a lot about liver or kidney damage.
It's not so much carpal tunnel, but I did strain my wrist sometime ago...since I keep re-aggravating it (usually by lifting heavy things) it hasn't had a real chance to heal properly

I looked up banalg...it has the same ingredients as good ole smelly Bengay...of which I have...but that tends to "heat" up the area...I seem to do better with cold applications...like Miracle Ice

Hi pye,
That sounds too good to be true, i have never come across anything like that that worked, so why not put it out world wide and into our shops? instead of having to buy it on the websites, I am sort of funny person, I don't trust anything that you have to buy on the websites. you never know whats in them.
Bright Blessings.
Tamara

I've noticed that a lot of these "miracle" type products are ones you can only get on the web...then there are those ones that say "try a free" bottle, just pay for shipping and handling...then later on most of these places charge up a fortune on one's credit card

Hey pye~I'm afraid that I agree with most of the posters
here who are also friends and wouldn't steer you wrong!
First, I still think like Kitty that you should see a doctor
already just to get an opinion. I would not bother with
the stuff from Montel! There are so many pain remedies out
there I just don't know what to use either! My girlfriend
got that IcyHot and she said it makes her knee feel better.
I'm still not convinced. Right now both my knees are
throbbing and my left ankle is in excrutiating pain and I
have no idea what to do and I have an Orthopedist who isn't
helping me either! The answer to everything isn't surgery,
at least not to me! So I am also NOT willing to just take
what the doctor says verbatim! I would love to find some sort
of spray or something RIGHT NOW to stop this pain! So I am
just not sure what to do either! I did like some of the
remedies from the ladies and I am going to see what I
can find tomorrow in the health food store!

Rather than retype everything, see my response to kitty...LOL. As I mentioned to her when I was going to a foot doc I actually think he made my joint/ankle/foot pain worse..haven't been back to him in ages.

If it hurts your body is telling you something is wrong. I don't belief in just popping a pill. I have not hear of the pain relief spray. My first thought it may be better then just popping a pill then again the insect spray is the worst thing you can do to yourself since it is breaking down your DNA. I will have to do more research on the Pain Relief Spray.

If not for the price I would say go for it, for one reason... the person endorsing it. Montel Williams has a disease that causes extreme pain throughout most of the body that can be absolutley debilitating for most people and quite excruciating. He is one of the most honest on-air personalities that I am familiar with, so if he was endorsing it, I would at least give it a try once, expensive or not.
If you are suffering strictly from wrist pain though, I would look into information about Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (unless it's caused from a known injury or something). I personally have mild carpal tunnel and it hurts like hell when I have been typing too long or playing internet games for hours, that sort of thing. I personally use Icy Hot for mine, but I have an extremely high pain threshold, and some people may need something stronger, or in addition like Aleve.
Best of luck to you.

The only problem is, is that the Pain Spray is too darn much considering I'm on SSI benefits. I've had mild carpal tunnel, but this wrist injury has been more a strained wrist...and since I keep re-aggravating it, it's taking forever to heal
